The APICC China Network is a project to connect companies, organizations and practitioners in China with counterparts in the rest of the world by means of a facilitated web media and has the following aims:
- To function as one of the contact routes between third parties and APICC.
- To provide a contact and communication space for companies or organisations active in the IC and Technology Transfer space in China and in the Rest of the World.
- To provide information about the knowledge based economy and the role of IC in creating, extracting and releasing value in the modern mixed and knowledge rich economy.
- At a later stage, to provide a facilitation space for joint projects between experts in different parts of the world and China, on the understanding that a project coordinator is supplied by one of the project participants. This service will not be free of charge.
- At a later stage, to provide an industry specific forum section for discussion once an interest has been clearly demonstrated in a topic or interet area, and a discussion leader from a “member” organisation has been identified. This service will not be free of charge.
- At a later stage, to provide an e-learning platform. This service will not be free of charge.
This APICC China Network will be directly managed by Gordon McConnachie, Chief Technology Officer of APICC. Those interested should contact him directly on gmcconnachie@apicc.asia The project will initiate once sufficient interest has been identified.
The APICC China Network – Recommended Model for Discussion
